1. Slafkovsky lower than Lafreniere, is this a joke. Alexis needed 4 season to get 50 point and have a impact on he's team. (I know NY and MTL roster doesn't compare but still) Slaf is already an Impact player and I dont even talk about point. He's simply a game changer when he get to the Ice(compare to alexis, at least), Hard to boxout in front of the net. First to be on the puck on recovery. Always prepared for the next play. I never see that from Lafreniere.

  2. For anyone arguing Mac over Mc, just look at the team Mac has compared to the team Mc has. Night and day…

  3. Solid list, and as a Leafs fan, yep, Matthews is 3rd….. honestly, in my opinion, MacKinnon is a more complete player than McJesus…. just saying… I'd have maybe gone him at #1….. but yeah, I get it.

  4. Don’t get me wrong, I love my captain… but whenever someone reminds me he was drafted before Cale Makar and others, I get really sad

  5. You should do logo rankings keep up the good vids I think you’re the only other flames fan I know go flames go

  6. Hey, could you do like all-time squads for every team (like their best 3 forwards , 2 defencemen and a goalie of all time)? Might be fun series for the offseason

  7. Lafrenier was playing with a hart level panarin he’s still good but slacofsky was great I’d switch them

  8. Just say NO to DRUGS , kids.
This dude has Celebrino above Nico Hischer!!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🤡 🤡 🤡

  9. Rasmus Dahlin is an absolute gem to watch. Got the rare treat of watching him play in Buffalo over the winter while visiting a friend there and in person he is so much better than you’d ever know. I love Charlie McAvoy as a Bruins fan but I wish he could take just a little bit of Dahlin’s offensive instincts with him

  10. This is pretty accurate. Anyone who justifies putting Mackinnon over McDavid because of the Avs cup is probably biased and Matthews is a cup away and possibly even another deep playoff run after that to surpass either of these two.

  11. now don't get me wrong Mac is an exceptionnal player, but i don't see it, even if it is a team sport in 9 season McDavid has 5 art ross… think about how dominant you need to be. they are different, but connor is just better and has a better career so far and his stanley cup will come.

  12. I'm very curious how people would look at Matthews if he played for another team.
The guy is on pace to be one of, if not the best goal scorer in NHL history but it's oh so easy to forget because, well, he plays in Toronto… And the Leafs are always gonna Leaf.

  13. Chicago rushing to move up in the standings is a big mistake, should stay a mid team or below for many years to come.

  14. I'll concede on the Nate ranking only because what you said right at the end is true – he couldn't do it alone. McDavid almost did

  15. Nico is criminally underrated and so essential to the Devils. I don't think outside of Jersey people really understand how much those guys depend on him. I like the Barkov & Tkachuk = Nico & Jack reference. It's true.

  16. Kind of weird to hear Power's comparison to Ekholm and Ekblad as "non-game changers" when both players were key defensive pieces on Stanley cup final teams. Specifically Ekholm has been game changing for the Oilers since he got there. Sure, they are not $8M+ two-way talents but it's sort of apparent that winning teams need this type of defenseman on their roster while Vancouver, and Dallas couldn't get it done with stars like Hughes and Heiskanen against Edmonton this year. It was often Ekblad that shut down the Oilers at the most critical moments, just holding the puck to the boards running the clock down.

  17. Hischier is so good dude he may not be the best player of his draft but he is the most well rounded

  18. Hischier gets kinda overlooked and pushed aside because of who was drafted after him, hindsight is 20/20
Hughes should be 4th on this list.
Cebrini should be at the bottom because let’s be honest he hasn’t taken a shift in the NHL yet

  19. While I don't agree with all of these picks, I appreciate the logic. Yes, I'd have Slafkovsky over Lafreniere (and maybe Hischier), and even if it's spicy – I'd put Bedard over Matthews. I can't argue Matthews production, and he's a totally dominant offensive player. But as you say, he's a liability when it matters, and I don't think he's got the best leadership personality traits. Bedard has sky-high potential.

But I know I'm biased too.

  20. i think hockey junkie has made me a bit biased but slaf is an absolute monster, and the habs are looking real scary.

    might be the next dynasty.
