Great video, but saying that Demidov wasn’t a focus from Montreal (like Reinbacher last year) is weird. There was SO much talk about Demidov, and Montreal really hoping he drop to 5 (and maybe even trade up to get him).
I’m not saying there wasn’t other names floating around, but he was very much in every discussion about who Montreal will most likely pick.

It always bothers me how some Americans say « Montreal ». It’s like they are pronouncing the « Mon » in the word « monster », instead of saying it like the « Mon » in the word « money ». I know the french way of saying it is more like « Moreal ». But saying it in english should sound more like « Munt-real » than « Mon-treal ». Just doesn’t sound right to me lol

As much as we appreciate the offseason content, it’s honestly clear that this guy does not follow the Habs very much at all. Multiple comments were just objectively wrong.
His projected line up with Barré-Boulet on the 3rd line and not having Roy anywhere. When Barré-Boulet will likely be a mainstay in Laval.
Saying that slaf has not exploded offensively this previous year. When he very much DID explode offensively in the last half of the season.
Saying that when slaf was drafted, wright was the clear number 1 « until weeks before the draft, where slaf then became the clear number 1 », when in reality, everyone was shocked when they actually drafted slaf over Wright.
Saying Caufield and Suzuki have not really worked well together 5-on-5…
And worst of all, saying « Demidov really, truely wasnt the focus » (for Montreal)…. Kent Hughes blatantly stated in his post draft presser that Demidov has been their main target for almost 2 years, and even if they had a top 2 pick, he was always going to be their guy.
