The pitching staff finally gets a shutout. They did a good job holding the Nats to 0 runs. So many were on base. Is it me, or did the Nats broadcast sound like a 1940s type of radio sound. I noticed it in the last few games. We accomplished the sweep. Let's keep it going. Not many people in the stadium, but then again, it's a work day.

Wow, getting a shut out almost feels like a no-hitter for these Mets. But maybe that's a sign of things to come. Diaz is almost back in full form and they added Maton. Maybe they'll add another arm or two at the deadline and they could make a serious push for a wild card spot.

Wow Baby. Takeaways are: Torrens is a terrifc Catcher behind the Plate. His bat is more than adequate as well. The Mets probably have the best Catcher Combo in the league. With Nimmo on FIRE, Lindor right behind him, and JD M starting it up again….all we need is for Pete to start delivering some more Power. I'm liking the way this team is gelling – better staring Pitching with Q, Peterson coming on, Severino, the kid Scott, and Senga on the return, we will need one or two Relievers. It Looks so far that Mets fans will have a good balance of Summer !
