If he stays in college he'll come out a free agent – those are the rules. If he did that and signed with the Habs everyone here would be ecstatic. I think most of the criticism we're all reading is fake news. So moral of the story is the kid is doing the team a favour by asking for a trade instead of waiting it out so stop the hate and if we get him, start cheering for him because that's what Habs fans do. That's our job.

Filip Mesar is a bust. Jordan Harris or Justin Barron don't matter in the big Montreal Canadiens picture, they have to go at one point since there is better options. Since Calgary are gonna be awful, we probably gonna end up with a really late first pick from Florida so, again, it doesn't matter. So to give not much for a potential top 6? Fuck yeah.

Not the first time a draft pick does not want to go the team he was drafted. If these guys are refusing to go unless they play right away just send them to the minors and see how long it is before they quit hockey. They should be happy they even got drafted.
