@Devils du New Jersey

1. Good for him but if he doesn’t learn to hit guys clean it doesn’t matter how good he gets at fighting he still wouldn’t last long in the league

  2. Oliwa!!!!! I saw an ad last year that he teaches a strength and conditioning class at the park by my house.

  3. Macdermid will rock Rempe's world…again, next season. I'm really looking forward to the rivalry games with the rags.

  4. Rempe's too easy to make fun of. Skating around with two black eyes. Healthy scratch against Florida.
I hope he trains hard all summer and still gets one-shotted first thing by McDermid.

  5. My dad, a Rangers fan, hates Rempe….my dad knows the game is different now. Yeah fighting is not going anywhere anytime soon. However, Rempe took A LOT of careless penalties for cheap shot hits, and laughs about it. Rempe is more bad for the Rangers than good. He gets them into trouble with careless penalties, and then they're on the penalty kill. That being said, glad to see MacDermid is a perfect 5 for 5. I think Nico really needs to drop the gloves more though.I like Nico, but he's Swiss. It is required for every able bodied man between the ages of 18-45 to serve in the Swiss militia. Nico did serve, and I want to see him use some of that training to drop some pests! If he starts dropping the gloves, the rest of the team will follow. Also, #BringBradytoNJ

  6. I saw mac manhandle Ryan reaves when he was still with Colorado so when I heard we traded for him I was very very happy.

  7. Am I the only one who thinks it’s kind of pathetic a big giant man like rempe who’s gone out of his way to hurt peoples actually training like he needs help fighting like he was actually bullied or something? lol

  8. This will be the only good thing I say about Purpleeyes. He brought the “Enforcer” type player back to the NHL. There are people who will fight, but not as frequent, plus he doesn’t care who it is. It’s seems to be his biggest role on the Rags, so he is a legitimate Enforcer. Kid fought so much coming into the league he had to be put on a leash. Props to him. Ok, f*** him and the rest of the Rags. Can’t wait to see MacDermid feed him so more knuckle sandwiches. Devils vs Rags 1st game should be one for the ages again. Round 2 Fight! Back in the day, a lot of Enforcers took boxing classes to be able to throw down. I’m not sure why he or anyone would take crap over that? As for the people that hate fighting in the NHL, they don’t seem to watch the game very well. It’s part of it, always has been and always will.
    LGD 2024-2025!

  9. This season, the Devils have more than 1 person who can beef up the security in McDermid, Dillon, and Kovacevic. Given the way this team got lit up I don't know any fan who would have an issue with this.

  10. Best fight era was late 70s with the broad street bullies. Anyway, I like hard nose heavy hitting hockey. I don't want it to turn into I went to the fights and a hockey game occurred.

  11. Remember non-violence activists, the reason they fight in the NHL other than to police each other is to relieve some stress in more controlled ways. For 60 minutes, these guys are skating at 15-20 mph, hard-checking each other into the boards, and wielding a stick made out of wood, fiberglass, or carbon fiber. I know all professional sports are stressful, but especially with hockey, if you don't let the guys fight, there are many other much worse ways that they can take it out on each other, which can result in some tragically short careers. And best of all, it's fun to watch!

  12. I personally think that Rempe is a scumbag who specializes in the cheap shot, hit from behind, style of physicality. That said, he has done one thing (possibly two) for the sport, he has put the Metro on notice, that EVERY team needs to have an enforcer on the roster, which leads to an overall more physical game. And Hopefully, that keeps the refs out of it more as players begin to enforce accountability on players.

  13. While one side is leveling up their protagonist, we added some side bosses. I expect every game against the Rags this season to be one for the ages!

  14. Hes a moron he needs to work on his hockey game or hes never gonna get real minutes… hes not even a good fighter for a guy whos that big my god did he get hes ass laid out by olivier last yearrr hahha

  15. A couple points:

Rempe is just working on his game, and at a skill he has to be good at. I see zero things wrong with that. The entire NHL would be dumb to not do the same.

In the NHL, you also need to be more dynamic. He needs to find more to his game than just fighting to be in the NHL for any length of time. Be creative in other areas of the game, like net front presence. Suspensions will only shorten his career at this point, so obviously knock off the dumb stuff and realize your a big guy.

  16. This season planning on attending a devils rangers game in the next meeting on the calendar if something major happens in a game previously if its worth retaliation if you know what I mean 👊😂

  17. I'm excited for the rivalry really heating up, im excited for the enforcer/fighter role being embraced somewhat again, & i'm happy to see us beat the hell out of Rempe every season. LGD!

  18. I think Rempe needs to focus on his skating and actual hockey skill. If he's' focused on stuff like this, probably not a bad thing for all you NJ fans!

  19. This is a more iconic Devils lineup. Should be a lot more room on the ice regardless of the deployment. SOMEONE will be there. If we can get some success, this could end up being the dream team. Skill and nasty. Is anyone else excited to see Jack fucking bomb on someone taking liberties? Aho proved he will 😂

  20. I suppose the first fight vs Rangers will be MacD vs Rempe and Rempe not only will regret it but will get what he deserves – I will love it, can't wait!
