Thier tough for sure i dont think thier too old maybe a slight bit slower but thier not the reason they lost the way they did there was many reasons they lost and martin and clitterbuck werent it
I would say Clutter has a bit more value then Martin. He slowed way down last year.
They shouldn’t have been resigned two years ago. Let’s double down on stupid again and bring them back. Clutter was the main reason for our league worst penalty kill. The mayor finished the season with THREE separate injuries and couldn’t dress in a playoff game. We have plenty of bottom six players and that’s the problem!
Why? Is this louzer's off-season plan every year? To just re-sign his old guys while adding a few fringe nhl'ers that don't add shit to isles? If louzer wastes some of the few cap $$$'s he has on 15 or 17 or both then he should be taken right to a home and put in a nice comfy rocker where he can sit there and drool 'my name is lou'. Pathetic this team has no other plan in place to improve. Sad the fans have to be subjected to this no plan but to run it back every season. I wish the nhl would have one season with no fkn cap to see if louzer could get out of his own cap he-ll and make some deals for the future. Wishful fkn thinking. Cljtter cannot do his job without an enforcer to protect him. You can reference any Gane he didn't have one, the other teams just beat him up. I don't want other back. I want Isles to upgrade.
Weird, I hear about all the youngins leaving ( Ish, otto…etc) and then a discussion re: bringing back the geriatrics?? How are we suppose to get a youth injection when lou is literally driving the kids to the airport on their way out of town?

I have no problem with them both coming back on 1 year contracts. Cal could still be a useful 4th liner, but Martin would have to realize he'd be scratched on most nights and be the extra forward. Both good veteran presence and worth having around the team. League minimum for Martin and $1.2 for Cal seems fair.

Gil there Always going to be loved players there time on the islanders were finished 2 seasons ago, do not sign them, we need to shift the team around younger players, it’s time for them to retire, I’d rather see younger players thank you Gil

I was 👀 an old of Patrick Roy. It must have been 👀 him in a showdown with Mike Bossy, THE ULTIMATE SNIPER,especially when he was a kid. I also saw him o. 12/02/1995, when he bitterly played his last game in Montreal. He was wrong for the way he acted, but at the same ⏲️.
