I know all the teams listed want to win their first cup.Blame Betman,more because of the push for the higher caliber players to the states.I know the players agents are also pushing for that.A Canadian team needs to win a cup so their fans don't give up on the game entirely and stop attending the games.Thats the affect.Why would any Canadian team fan watch their team when they don't see a chance at winning a cup.400 500 600 dollars a ticket,only to see their team loose.Thats why it's important.The players agents need to get that through their money hungry skulls.Stamkos will have a hell of a time with the big aggressive defenceman in the west.

The original Winnipeg Jets were established in 1972 … but didn't join the NHL until 1979, when the WHA and NHL merged.
I think the Leafs should be on this list, because it was so long ago, fewer and fewer people remember way back then.

As a buffalo fan i can not boo bettman. Our owner went to prison on fraud charges in the 90s. Bettman kept the team in buffalo during a long and almost comical/scary comedy of errors until golisano stepped up. Without bettman there is no nhl in buffalo.
Nashville is next. But I'm really hoping Minnesota makes some great additions once their cap opens up and maybe their young players like Rossi, Boldy and Khusnutdinov develop well and step up their game and become assets to the team. Kaprizov is so good and I'm worried we're going to end up losing him before we can build around him.
As a predators fan I’m pretty excited. Trots is doing an amazing job as gm. Look I will not lye though stamkos and Marsuallt are old. But I do think they will have a huge impact on our team for offense. Also I think that are young guys will develop and be really good. Let’s go get the cup
