I met Stamkos randomly one day in Dallas (I live in dallas). I was walking out of a restaurant after having brunch with my wife and didn’t realize the restaurant was next to the hotel where away teams stay when they play the Stars. I said hi to him. He was a nice guy who stopped to shake my hand. As I was leaving I told him to take it easy on the Preds and he laughed.
I’m not saying that I planted the seed in his mind to join the Preds, but I’m telling myself that I subconsciously pushed him this direction. Doesn’t have to go easy when he’s on the Preds.
