Curious why he would mutually terminate rather than being bought out, does anyone have any insight on that?
Well, kind of what was expected after the initial rumors. I like Kuzy and had fun cheering for him, and think he’s still got something to give. Maybe not an ideal fit, but it is what it is and I hope he and his family can do well and be happy if he’s headed back to Russia

Awesome to get nearly $4m of cap back, but makes all of our loses sting more as we certainly could’ve afforded Brady or Turbo with that extra space. Maybe would’ve sped up things with Jake the snake to where it shook out differently.
KK’s job got safer today though.
I’ll say I have a much more positive impression of him now. I never really got to appreciate his skills up close until he put on a Canes sweater and I saw him live.
He looked positively electric those first few games, and when he scored his first goal it blew the roof off PNC.

I 100% get why we’re clearing the cap space and have nothing against him doing what he wants, but at some point it would be nice for us to actually retain or add a top 6 player

i started watching the canes because kuzy is my favorite player. a sad moment for me 🥲 i’ll always love him and even though he’s leaving, i’ll always love the canes!
Bummed about losing him, but realize this is probably what’s best for him/his family as well as the team. We’ll always have some good memories, at least.
Well that is disappointing. I was excited to see what he could do with a full year with the team. Glad he spent the time with us that he did, wish I could’ve seen him raise the cup in a Canes uniform
