Happy for some good news today. Does this mean that they were able to settle on a contract without having to actually go through arbitration?
Amazing contract. Gives Jack the opportunity to blossom and show up, and gives us tons of wiggle room.
Great deal for the canes! He struggled to get going last year, but he’s a middle six forward in the NHL imo

Really good deal! Ideal Jordo replacement for that 3C matchup/defensive role. He’s really impressed me and has risen to challenges. Don’t love him at 2C but can’t deny he won the job over KK last year

With $3.9mil back from Kuzy being placed on UC waivers and with roughly $14mil left to burn now after this signing, I expect Necas and Jarvis to both be signed relatively soon as well. Well one of the two, at least.

incredible deal tbh Jack has been so damn good for us the last season and a half, especially his FO% and defensive reliability + his offensive vision is very very dialed in. i thought he coulda gotten $2 million ish as a max reach, but this is perfection, the Canes FO is really doing some good things setting us up for success in the future – could be a really surprising season for us if we end up doing a big move this summer (ie. Burns trade a few years ago)

Good deal for us, there’s good opportunity here for Drury. We don’t have a 2c as of now soooo. I certainly don’t expect him to be the one to step up and fill that spot, but he’s legit never gonna have a better shot at it than now. Either way he’ll be due a raise in 2 years.
