If you look just right to the side, you can see the indention of where the autograph used to be. It looks white now, instead of black marker. Is there anything I can do other than getting him to sign it again? I don’t think so but thought I’d check.

Direct sunlight or even certain indoor lighting is murder on sharpie and ballpoint autos. Avoid sunlight and harsh lighting. Basement/man caves and LED lighting for the win. Also mat everything you frame, autos touching the glass will stick to the glass and come off the photo.

I have a stick suffering the same fate that I got as a birthday present in 1991. I’m not sure what kind of marker was used, but his signature is slowly flaking off.

I feel your pain. I had a stick that was signed by Steve Yzerman and eventually the signature faded away.

Same thing happened to my signed Sting (the singer) photograph. It’s always been away from windows and in the basement with all my other signed memorabilia.
