Lot more hits, a lot more speed. I think we are a better team. A playoff team? Not sure. One good trade changes everything.
Love what Kevyn Adams has done this summer! More speed and toughness in the bottom 6 , Lindy returns as head coach, Tage will be healthy and will bounce back as will Jack Quinn and Dylan Cozens .All of this means the Sabres will make the playoffs ! The Sabres are no longer SOFT & SLOW, and there are now rumours that the Sabres could get even tougher on the blueline with Jacob Trouba rumours to Buffalo.He would be a perfect D partner for Owen Power!
Sorry i disagree , the top 6 forward group is set and will succeed . With a new coach running the PP , the PP will be improved ! Avoid arbitration and sign UPL and Malenstyn are they are all set.

UPL played well for half a season. I wouldn't be handing him a huge long year contract just yet.
When I consider the Mitts-Byram trade on top of the off-season, I’m very happy. I really doubt your pessimism, way too negative about the team.

With Kulich,Rosen and other young prospects coming Buffalos addressed bottom six to support these youngsters. Ryan Macleod and Malenstyn will be a very pleasant surprise. One more year and they'll be formidable for years to come
The goals were down last year, because the PP was atrocious. They couldn't even get the puck in the zone and get it set up. Last year's team also had no forecheckers. The team was undersized & soft. These free agent signings are going to help a lot. They names aren't sexy, but these new Sabres have speed, grit, and some toughness. I expect a whole lot more this year from Power & Krebs, if he's still here.
What do you want Kevyn to do? Hold a gun and force players to come there? At least we will see some physical play and speed
