@Penguins de Pittsburgh

    I’m a PA native living in the Portland area.

    The Winterhawks Skating Center (in Beaverton) has (or had, it’s been a couple years) wall-sized pictures of Johnston, Pouliot, etc. it’s pretty cool.

    The Winterhawks games themselves are just so much fun (though ticket prices are getting carried away for what they are). They do a game every Spring/Summer where they open the windows and light the rink with the west coast sunset.

    I always remember the off in the distance stare, after an opposing goal was scored.

    The only man to slow down Sidney Crosby

    In NHL circles, no man better defined the word « meek ».

    He’d fit in very well with the current Pens, and their indecisive direction.

    Met him once at a bar i worked at that was very well known for their cocktails. He ordered a lemon drop martini with a sugar rim, and i knew the Penguins were cooked. Nice, but weird guy in my brief interaction. Not an nhl head coach

    He’s obviously a very good juniors coach. He just couldn’t do it in the NHL. (He also seems shady as fuck.)
