you guys are so close to getting it….. PP1 net front needs to be tarasanko, he likes going to the crease, and has the hands to finish in tight in addition to having the size and experience to dig out and dish pucks below the goal like as well. I'd like to see:
Debrincat Larkin Kane Tarasenko Seider
Raymond Compher Berggren Rass Gus
And I wouldn't be shocked at three things:
1. Veleno getting a shot at PK
2. Copp getting some looks in that Rass net front PP slot. He's better on the dot than JT.
3. Simon and Mo together on PK1.
Guys, I think they actually switch bumper and netfront dynamically during the play. The roles are not static these days as they used to be.
That's another reason why Larkin and Ray makes so much sense together as you have the ability to get a right or left shooter in front depending on where the puck is played from.
We saw a lot of goals created this way last season.

Ras was fantastic on the PK last year. I would think he and Motte would be amazing. Save Larkin for the last few seconds of the PK so he can immediately attack on the offense
I know you guys probably have your content figured out already, but I would love to hear your guys opinion on Perron signing with Ottawa. Especially after what happened with Larkin last year, kind of an interesting choice on his part.
Unless Danielson or Kasper really blow us out of the water, this makes me think Mazur may actually have the best shot to make the team. His net front grindy type of playstyle could get him some looks on different lines, while there’s more of a log jam at center.
2nd power play has only one player that has ever scored 20 goals in a NHL season. Penalty killing will be fine but goal scoring will be a huge problem this year.
My prediction is a 17% power play next season 😢
Seider is good enough and proven enough to be on the first pp unit. Problem is he’s already over utilized. Will he have enough gas to be the number one pp.
The problem with Sieder on PP1 is he's already doing crazy minutes, we need a bit more defensive coverage, though having a season of edvinsson might help with that

I've ALWAYS felt like Mo is one of those guys that has a VERY good shot who doesn't shoot neatly enough.. and is it me but even when does shoot it, and scores it seems he only gets like 77-80% of the puck.. but like by design..🤔
Seider on pp1 would make too much sense, unlike Lalonde’s lineup selections most nights
