Absolutely disgusting. People need to turn in their season tickets. How can this happened. He literally turned a blind eye to sexual assault. Oilers support needs stop immediately. Jeff jackson needs to be fired.
This is a baffling decision. The guy was gifted a cup winning team and then burned it to the ground while covering up one of the biggest scandals of the last few decades. How the league even allowed him to return is beyond me, but I'm ashamed that this clown is now at the head of our team.

Stan Never built the Chicago Blackhawks. ( Seabrook, Keith, Hjarmalsson, Bolland, Bickell, Brouwer, Crawford, Kane, Toews, Byfuglien, etc. All Tallon had some aspect of drafting. Sharp, Versteeg, Ladd, Niemi, Sopel, Madden, and Kopecey, were all acquired by Tallon.) If you remember Rocky hired John McDonough as President. McDonough only wanted "yes" people. However, Dale Tallon was the GM and Rick Dudley was on the staff. In the 1st week, McDonough without contacting Dale Tallon, hired Scotty Bowman, in the 2nd week without contacting Tallon, he promoted Stan to Assistant GM. The following day Rick Dudley walked into the office and told Tallon he was immediately resigning. In the summer of 2009 9( After Tallon pushed for the Hawks to sign Hossa) McDonough dismissed Dale. Stan was an integral part of covering up the Kyle Beach. Stan did not care about Kyle he cared about his job and winning the cup. Stan was given a Red and Black Lambergiunni. He Scratched it with bad contracts, dented it with bad trades, and he ruined the engine and the tires with horrible drafting. GOOD LUCK.

What I know about Stan Bowman: He covered up sexual assault long enough to win the Stanley Cup 3 times. Then you get a slap on the wrist (or behind depending on how he likes it) when the story gets out, then you inherit the best team in hockey as your penance. Thanks to Hall of Fame manager Ken Holland and his work over the past 5 years…Everybody thinks that Jeff Jackson is a genius even though he had Ken Holland greasing the skids and preparing everything, maybe even reports telling him what to do come trade deadline 2024. Yes, Jeff Jackson was in charge this off-season, but I'm guessing a lot of the work was done for him including by a team that played game 7 in the Stanley Cup final. Must be nice to be the son of the best coach ever grace the bench in this league…
We need to hear from McDAVID AND LEON D on this hire. Evidently they must have had a say after all McDAVID pushed for Jeff Jackson, so they must have had some kind of influence. I know fans are upset. I felt MARK HUNTER was not a good fit . My hope was for Brian Lawton but what can you do. Stan Bowman did win 3 Stanley CUPS with the Blackhawks something I desperately want from my OILERS with McDAVID and company. Maybe penalizing him gave him a new leaf. Remember Steinbrenner was expelled from baseball for illegal interference on Winfield and his charity. When he was reinstated his behavior was better. Let’s give it a try guys. Yes it’s difficult to swallow but maybe the other options didn’t want the job.

Bowman is a horrible GM. He lost most of his trades with the Blackhawks. Tallon built the team to win 3 cups, not him! This guy is giving me PC vibes and we know how that turned out. Plus, he f*cked up real bad with Beach’s situation. There are so many strong candidates out there, why did JJ pick him 🤬🤦🏻♂️. I’m done with this team

34:48, this to the end of the video, listen to this if your disappointed with Stan bowman’s moves he made with Chicago. Or disappointed that Jeff Jackson is not gm. If you’re disappointed with the Kyle beach situation, remember bowman was not the one sexually assaulting Kyle beach. He could have done more about it but that was 14 years ago and he went through many steps to change.
