I think losing Kuzzy as a line mate affected Petey a lot. All he had was Mykaev. Hoping a fresh training camp will help him with new blood.
Never mind his lack of production in the playoffs, Petey, all but disappeared in the second half of the regular season!

not surprised shannons defending bowman so casually, but still disappointed. i know shannons friends with all these guys, so hes not gonna throw them under the bus. at least hes being honest about his feelings though, ill give him that
Stan Bowman: no he hasn't paid enough of a price. From an optics point of view it certainly doesn't scream "high-class organization" does it? Rather it speaks to an organization that is desperate to win above all else and even then, it's a bad decision. It fits their MO perfectly. Holland was terrible and Chiarelli was worse as GM but it they have quite a history of bad hires (much like the Canucks). Those two wasted a decade of McDavid and Draisatl's career. Edm's history of talent assessment has been very very suspect and this is consistent with history. We'll see if Bowman recognizes the flaws of this team or not.
I belive with competent linemates and being healthy petty will bounce back. If mikehyeve capitalizes on half the opportunities given to him by petty, he would at least have 100 points easy
