Maintenant que Laine a été libéré du programme d’aide de la LNH/AJLNH, où pensez-vous qu’il finira ? Et quelle est sa valeur marchande ?

Edmonton. I know it makes no sense but we love reclamation projects.
Really depends on how much salary that Columbus is willing to retain. Laine at 4.7 to 5ish million is a lot more appealing than the full 8.7. At half I can see him going for something similar to the Burns trade with one to two prospects and a lower end pick
St Louis
Let him score 5 a game against someone else. Plus I think we’re big on second chances after assistance programs
To Minnesota for Gudreau, Gustavson, and a lottery protected/conditionary 1st
Columbus can I interest you in a heavily used Jacob Trouba?
Detroit *edit IF he passes the Yzerman wif test
Jets please.
I could see something like buffalo, utah and (hopefully) detroit being after him. Team that is just short of those extra 20-30 goals from playoffs and has its shit together defencively that some unenthusiastic backskating can be overlooked every now and again. Detroid or even philly could be interesting.
Edit. Personally I’m not expecting much from him after couple last years paddys had
I hope to god it’s not Minnesota. Given all the injuries they’ve dealt with, and all the forwards they have coming up in the system, the last thing they need is a glass cannon. I don’t think Laine has played a full season in half a decade.
Hopefully somewhere. Wishing him the best.
Idk how realistic it is but Sabres would love a top 6 option on a one-year deal, and have the cap space to outbid other teams. Could be a fit.
Winnipeg, my heart says.
I don’t think he’s going anywhere for awhile. Maybe trade deadline, maybe next off season
Craig Conroy, put down the phone.
vegas can find a way to put him on LTIR
Utah makes sense. Would probably be worth the gamble for them
Edmonton with his kind
Come to Boston, comrade!
Rob Blake will take him and the full contract.
I wonder how much the loosy goosy forms of first time player oriented head coaches affected his game, and his relationship with the game. I feel like the dude absolutely needs concretely established leadership and structure, and find ways to be creative within that. I think Johnny’s the same way, and that’s why his game plummeted the past couple of seasons. Well that and a complete lack of center depth.
We may never know for sure… But Lou probably kicking the tires on a trade for him. I full season playing, giving a crap Laine would be great. Now though???
