If $16 is the number for McDavid and $10 for Bouchard (absolutely ridiculous, I would rather trade him) that means between McDavid, Draisaitl, Bouchard, Nurse, Hyman and Nuge we’re at $60 for 6 players. Leaving $40 million in 2027-28 to sign 14 or 15 more players. That’s an average of 2.66 per player. I fear we will not be able to be competitive with the remaining money. We might have a couple at league min, which might be $950 by then but honestly I think we are going to be in trouble. That $60 million is basically 1 line with no goalie.
