It's weird with such a disappointing off-season so far, that we haven't locked up vatrano for at least a few years. Unless he's asking for way too much, I would think a 3/$5 would be a good prove it/hedge against his ceiling deal. Z is just Z and the ducks would be pretty stupid to trade their only true scorer/playmaker. Every time he has the Puck it seems like someone will get a scoring chance.
If the ducks get good offer for either Zegras, vatrano the gm like it he is going to pull the trigger something you have let go of player in order to improve the team

Love Terry as Captain, Vatrano will be awesome with better players around him look what he did last season with all the injuries. He has motivation to continue the scoring and energy devoted to put up just as good numbers he put up last season or even better numbers. I really believe a healthy bigger stronger Zegras will be a valuable player this year and healthy should put up good numbers if not great numbers to shut up the media on potential trade rumors. 🎉 Lookout the Ducks are coming and The Orange is gonna crush it, "Believing" Anaheim Ducks 🏒

Why are we not talking Leo for captain?
I want to see Gudas as the temporary captain while mctavish grows into his role on the team. Also vatrano would be a good fit with any of our playmakers since he is the best one on the team when it comes to burying a shot.
Gudas as a captain for one season until somebody really steps up. Not a fan of Zegras, but if he really means that he wants to be a Duck and ready to prove that, I can only respect that. I think Vatrano can repeat his numbers and improve his defense. I like Frank, but him being a captain, I see no reason for that. It's either Gudas or somebody from the young core, like McTavish.
I forgot you recommended me SportsSpyder but I've been using it ever since! Hoping for an above .500 season this year! (Probably won't happen but who knows)
