Intially loved RDJ as Doom, but I'm a comic geek and have no trouble with multiverses, doppenglers, etc. Now I'm not so sure. The general public is used to RDJ as Tony Stark. To play a different character that could be Victor Von Doom – may be hard to buy.
Draisaitl will get what Draisaitl wants. This isn't going to be so much a negotiation as an understanding of what's going to happen. My feelings on bringing back Robert Downy Jr to return as Doctor Doom is "I hate you 3000". Great actor and glad to see the Russo brothers come back to try to save Disney Marvel from itself, but just no.
