Demidov is gonna get here next year like the cherry on the most awesome cake ever.
I wonder if Guhle is now the benchmark for future D, like Suzuki is for other forwards. If so KH can absolutely stack this team with depth when the time comes. No core player over 8M. I know that won’t last for long, but it will for a couple of years at least.
Well, Guhle was groomed to be a core player ever since his rookie season last year. He was part of all sorts of team promos and community outreaches last summer.
So that worked out well for him and the Habs so far. The future challenge will be for him and Suzuki/Caufield/Slafkovsky to set the right environment once a whole bunch of new kids who’ll have grown together in Laval all join the Habs in waves. Gotta make it a seamless culture.
