Man I was so prepared for this as a canes fan. I wanted Ehlers for that pure goal scoring since they couldn’t get Guentzel back. It’s pretty troubling that they couldn’t get the deal done
Necas is more seasoned than Perfetti and the Canes probably wanted and Ehlers and Mcgroarty to make this go through

Why not make a video about Bettman keeping an eye on the Leafs? Apparently, Bettman doesn't like that the Leafs signed Chris Tanev to a longer deal that will (likely) take him to retirement as Bettman doesn't want the Leafs using him as a LTIR component to bury Tanev's cap should he get injured, especially towards the end of his contract. It was fine that TB and Vegas used the LTIR to make their teams better for the playoffs but the Leafs can't use it should Tanev become injured?
