I don’t think we give enough credit to GMKA for having a plan. It was clear that he identified players and went after them. Yea a trade or two didn’t happen but he had a plan and wasn’t just standing around waiting. I really respect our scouting department, how good they have been with identifying talent in the draft. They had KH highly ranked and he fell to them at 14!
Malenstyn was identified way before the draft and tried to get him before they had the extra 2nd….maybe there was a bigger trade in the works?!
Winning is the end goal and it solves a lot, but I respect GMKA approach – the time is now.
