  1. 8:55 It's funny because I don't think I had ever heard of Tony Hand and Adam's sick of hearing about him. Always remember – no one else has ever lived your experiences and knows the things you know.

  2. Would you guys rather have Necas and Bertuzzi for 2 years or Marner for 1? Feel like the 2 forwards support Matthews and Nylander better.

  3. Steve's blackjack analogy is fine…except it's completely incorrect. Give me a table I have a guaranteed 17 every hand, and I'm making SO MUCH money. 17 wins 69% of the time.

  4. Regarding OTT/MTL, pretty sure Ottawa won the last 9 games against them lmao. Ottawa doesn't have much, but we do have that

  5. Habs have to make a tangible improvement this year, the last 2 years we started roughly .500 and 6th in the division before dropping off. If we don’t end the year around there it’s a disappointing year in my opinion. That’s the first step to me, then the team continues to guild. Truly our window to “Win” with the core plus 1-2 bigger free agents or trade acquisitions is 2027-2031. So we have a little more time before it’s imminent. But we need to see a step now.

  6. Brayden Point having the most GWG fully tracks, man is one of the most clutch players in the business. There are definitely better players, but in the big moments in tight games, few people will come through more than him

  7. I asked AI to summarize the MTL-CGY 1st round pick trade in 300 characters or less, here it is : Montreal acquired a conditional first-round selection from Calgary. If Calgary’s 2024 first-round pick is between 20-32, Montreal can swap it for a 2025 or 2026 first-round pick. If not, Montreal will receive the earlier of Calgary’s or Florida’s 2025 first-round pick, depending on draft positions and conditions. If Calgary's 2025 pick is in the top-10 and Florida's is outside, Montreal gets Florida's pick. If Calgary's 2025 pick is the first overall, Montreal will get Calgary's third-round pick in 2025 and a conditional first-round pick in 2026.

  8. WTF happened to Sid Sixiero anyway? Why did he got to BT? Seems like such an odd transition.

And he's horrible on BT. It's not like he was a must have news talent. Just a sports talking head. If it was for money, why would you give up talking about sports, with little politicical recourse, to go into the mainstream gauntlet? That wouldn't be worth any paycheck to me.

  9. Stop talking about Tony Hand, his family are the worst things that ever happened to Scottish ice hockey.

  10. As is Tradition, SDP goes on a summer break the same time that the bombshell reason Jeff Marek was dismissed from Sportsnet comes out

  11. Long story short, if Flames finish 10th OA or lower, Habs get Florida's 1st round pick. So essentially we will get Flo's 1st rounder

  12. Spit out my coffee during the Adam and Steve vs. The Blakes segment. Just a bunch of misogynists talking over and talking in place of women, Jesse included 😉

  13. Loved the habs segement, thought you guys made some great points. Totally agree that the team seems like it should be good, but it's gotta get there. Curious if you guys think Demidov could be that superstar they need though, you guys didn't touch on him and of course he's still a prospect, but he has real potential. Can't wait til the highlights of him in the KHL start rolling in in september.

  14. But again Jesse is shitting on Necas but he would probably have 85+ points on toronto, and they could of brought back bertuzzi, could of made a markstrom trade possibly, or possibly Kane, marsh, stammer or another FA in that 5-6.5 range, end of the day it’s not a terrible trade 1 for 1 is a bit steep but I think if necas has the right team mates, like he did when he went over the the world hockey championships he would excel to a whole entire new level

  15. The Atlantic will be the exact 4 teams from last year, may be different order but Boston, Florida, Tampa and toronto, will all Def be the 4 representatives and the metro got better so I don’t see 5 teams from the ATL making it. But toronto and Boston got better and Tampa and Florida lost a bit of there core so could Def be different results

  16. Also the bible break down is pretty much if Calgary gets any first rounder that’s not the 1st overall MTL will retain the pick.

  17. as a kings fan, i see faber and a first for fiala as win/win trade. fiala has been my favorite king to watch in a very long time, and he's given the kings consistent scoring, which they needed desperately. the kings also had one of the most stacked RHD depth charts in the league in 21/22, and hoping for Spence Clarke Doughty Roy Durzi Walker and Faber to all stay along for the ride was impossible.

  18. It's almost as if Habs haters don't understand rebuild strategies– you're supposed to tank on purpose for better picks while not embarrassing yourselves. They had so many 1-goal games last season and played very conservatively to reduce hefty injuries, a lot of the prospects have yet to play a full season, let alone 5 games in the NHL and are about to come up by 2025-26– they have talent to push at the deadline as per the SDPN panel here– the only thing i disagree with, is the 'lack' of talent up front– Caufield, Suzuki, Slaf, Dach, Newhook, Demidov and more is very promising under 25– they also have one of the best defensive pools in the league related to prospects coming up in the next 2 years– underestimating them would be a huge mistake.

  19. Ur right though, they should make league Minimum a Million.. Then, every player who signs for a million doesn’t count towards the cap.. Stanley Cup contenders should get their pick of the litter, for putting a good product on the ice and they pick last in drafts. You shouldn’t get punished cuz you were in the Stanley Cup. At least give them that, 1st pick of league minimum contracts.

  20. To be fair, there was a comment by a woman before Michelle’s, agreeing with Steve. Fyi Jesse. Hahaha

  21. Hello creators… I have made thumbnail for this video and have sent you on Instagram hope u will like it… If you can provide me your mail then I can sent there too… ❤😊

  22. Imagine complaining about hearing the Hand story too much and then immediately getting the story wrong smh. Edinburgh may wish it was in England but it’s actually Scotland, funnily enough.

  23. Habs rebuild’s going just fine, Management is doing it the right way. They would have taken a great step last year if it wasn’t for Dach and Newhooks injuries and Anderson awful year. This year, if Slakovsky and Caufield play like their last 40 games, and with Dach’s return, they are gonna be just fine. And in the future, Hutson and Demidov will be high end talents. With their core players signed with great deals, future is bright in Montreal.

  24. Faber is also a Minnesota native so that trade out of LA where he was drafted made sense for him on a personal level
