I was in favor of not signing TK, but I also think he is completely underrated as a pure shooter and still has more upside. There is such a small list of players in the league that can hit their spots the way TK does when he has his chances between the circles. If Michkov elevates the team offense to a new level, we could see TK hitting some absurd goal totals in upcoming seasons.
Something to keep an eye on is his raw shooting volume. We saw TK hit a career high last season with 240 shots. The team needs to give TK every opportunity to drive this number up even higher. One of the obvious failures of the PP last season was not being able to just get a guy like TK ripping the puck consistently. Hopefully Michkov is like a pond a 4am, providing a calmness and clarity to our PP, which I think is the missing element to getting the other skill players more involved.

Great discussions. I think they flip 2-3 picks next year in the first two rounds and land a number 1 centre. On the TK signing you need a veteran who is the face and swagger of Flyer Nation, you need a role model and that’s him, to build the young guys up to be true to the Flyer identity.
