  1. I always had respect for Crosby but admittedly back in his early days I used to join in on some of the scoffing and eye-rolling when his name was mentioned. I feel like at this point, even if you aren't a Crosby fan, you still HAVE to give him the respect he deserves. The guy has earned his title as a hockey legend to the likes of Gretzky and Lemieux, and to have had the opportunity to watch his whole career, looking back now feels like an absolute privilege. The guy worked harder than anyone, never took anything for granted, was true to his roots, and loyal to his country AND his NHL team. There was a point where it looked like his career might have even come to an end with the severe concussions he suffered, yet here he is getting nearer to the end of his career and still putting up elite numbers. At this point if you still hate Crosby well then you are just a petty old douchebag.

  2. Personally I think it's mostly work ethic. As Iverson said about Kobe, "when we're out at the club, he's practicing." In other words the guy never did anything fun. Just contemplated basketball 24/7. I think many of those other players you mentioned, Ovi, Pavelski, etc…they could be their own version of themselves if they had the attitude to the training and commitment to BEING that good at that age. I'd be willing to bet if you look deeply into their lives off the ice you'll see they simply don't work as hard as he does.

  3. Crosby having the best faceoff win percentage of his career (58.2%) in 23-24 is another element of his aging like fine wine.

  4. Ok he said “breakneck speed” almost right away turning this off. So irritating to me speed doesnt break necks. Sudden acceleration or deceleration could not the actual speed. I have the need
The need for breakretardedredneckspeed /clownface trying to sound intelligent like kids who just discovered muhammad ali on the internet and say “wow.. so underrated”😅 like umm 3 world titles disagrees with your underrated assesment there

  5. Do a video on Todd Bertuzzi. After the Moore incident he became a shell of himself, absolutely a “hockey psychology” story.

  6. Thank you for making this video to celebrate Sid’s birthday coming soon in a few days! 🎉❤

  7. Sid was on 140-150 point pace when he got concussions, and that was during the lowest scoring era ever in NHL.

  8. Best player in the league. I think they will make the playoffs this season and go deep in the playoffs. Just give him more ice time..

  9. It's funny how you left out Mattew's at the start of the video guy only got 69 goals 23-24 season you must be a Leaf hater??

  10. You know HP, i hate to say it… but…

You need to make more videos, cause ive binge watched all of your videos i think like 4 times now….PLEASE WE NEED MOARRRRRRRRRRRR 😅

  11. Thanks for reminding me of that beautiful one-handed goal from Crosby. Truly an incredible player and we Pens are lucky to have him

  12. Sid is so lethal. Love him or hate him, hes undeniably on any mount rushmore you could ever imagine

  13. Sir, I’m 22, from the burgh, grew up with Crosby, always has been and always will be my favorite player. After watching him for ~16 ish years, also having played hockey myself for a couple years (started late and broke my leg in a game decided to call it quits 😅), it’s still too fast on tv or in person for me to pick up any of these small things that make him this extraordinary, everyone know he’s great, but never would I see him in this great of detail. Thank you so much for breaking it down like this, it helps me see the game in a whole new way I never thought possible. Thank you, thank you, thank you, can’t wait for the next video.
