I haven’t been following but he must have really showed out in camp if they signed him.
Having him in the hawks system will surely speed his development but I’m still a little surprised by this signing but ultimately I trust FKC to develop prospects at their own pace.
Does anyone else get anxious when they are the Hawks social media person tweet the 👀 emoji? No? Just me?
So after quickly watching some of his scouting reviews he is known for playing as a very big guy with a good shot which makes him a good net driver.
Knowing the rest of Rockford roster which is full of a mix of strong forwards and very big two way defence who can pass the puck really well I think they just saw he was ready for AHL competition and thought he could fill a hole in the roster that Dach or Ludwinski could leave in the case where they show they are ready for the NHL.
Either way, I didn’t pay much attention to him when the Hawks selected him but I gotta say I really like the prospect of him on the middle 6. Until then, he should be a really fun watch in Rockford!
