  1. NO THANKS to Laine or Zegras as both are defensive liabilities and OVERRATED& OVER PRICED!
Please stop with the Sabres needing a top 6 forward, they dont!

  2. I'm not a fan… he's burned his bridge in Winnepeg, and now in Columbus. He seems to be a problem child which is NOT the kind of player Adams has looked for. He wants players who want to be here.

  3. Sabres are already having a hard enough time finding leadership. Inviting a locker room cancer like Laine into the mix might be enough to implode the team and move them to Houston.

  4. It's a horrible idea. Only difference between him and Skinner is the amount of time in the league. Skinner minus 130. Laine is minus 58. Just as big of a defensive liability.

  5. Patrik Laine has the same (lack of) defensive qualities as Jeff Skinner, but without Jeff's engaging personality. No thanks even as a free agent, let alone sending assets to Columbus in a trade. If we are looking to trade for a top 6 forward there are better options out there that also do not come with Laine's attitude.

  6. The Sabres already have a top six, if you include Zach Benson. But if we do trade, I like Joe's idea of sending Greenway as part of the trade. A Zucker – McCleod – Benson third line would be sweet.

  7. As much as i like Laine at times he is not a Lindy Ruff type player. id like to see them make a Shot at Farabee still. Krebs still isnt signed so maybe he is in for Trade bait. Farabee scores and is a better 2 way player. Something tells me tho they may not make a move til they See what Benson does on a line with Cozens and Quinn. But for me its always been Farabee the contract and the term and his age fits perfectly.

  8. I typically see a lot of common ground between our viewpoints but this one I am such a no it’s not even funny

  9. Bad idea! I'm happy with the line-up that Adams has brought to Buffalo via the draft or recent trades; now let's give Ruff a chance to see what he can do with what Adams has given him.

  10. Unlike Skinner, Laine can drive a line. Makes a huge difference. On a top line, L:aine will always outperform Skinner by a mile.

  11. It’s wild how down Sabres fans are on this. If you retain more than 25% he’s a perfect bridge for Skinner’s best buyout years
