I expect it at the TDL, I think they give him that much time to try to make it work.
If it’s not him it’ll be McTavish though. At least one of the current young guys won’t be here at the start of the 25-26 season – shifted out in a hockey trade.
All in all though… does it matter if a trade makes the team better? People love Drysdale but he was shifted for a piece they needed and people are excited about the return piece now. No doubt whatever they do with any other trade will have a similar response. Besides it hasn’t happened yet so why borrow trouble?
How credible is stu grimson. Has he broken anything?
I’ll say what was said last time; I’d move zegras but I don’t want to move him. Zegras is not untouchable but I wouldn’t move for anything less than a haul
Like if the Washington capitals came knocking with Ryan leonard I’d at least hear what they have to say

I think there’s very high possibility we don’t see Zegras move. Quote me I’m an insider.
I know it’s unpopular but I wouldn’t be against it. He’s got a lot more value as a name than he does on the ice, where he’s an offense-only forward who has to be heavily sheltered with O-zone starts and defensive-minded wingers to pick up his responsibilities. I know he put noticeably more effort into defense last year, but the results were still pretty bad. And if you’re gonna be an offense-only guy like that, I need more offense than he actually produces.
He’s great to have now on his early contract, but someday he’s going to be looking for $10m/year and I’m not interested in being the team that gives it to him.
Obviously I expect fair value for him, I’m not interested in just dumping him for peanuts.
Man I’m so tired of these posts about Z getting traded. I don’t understand how there are still people who upvote them.
if GMPV gave Trevor a no move clause the off season hockey news would have nothing to talk about until training camp
