I feel like I’m one of the more optimistic people on this sub on how this off-season went, and still when I took the survey I voted less confident, so I’m a little suprised I was part of the 13% minority who did so.
I get that the Athletic’s readership skews more to the gamebots than the average casual fan but I was still surprised to see how high they ranked, specifically in free agency.
C+ for draft and development?
Opioid crisis is worse than I thought!
I guess the Cap Management grade of B is still Kuch backlash … as if other teams haven’t done the same. And vision? Three cups for a relatively new team with management that has helped redevelop the entire Amalie area? I see a visionary for sure!
I have no clue how to read that bar chart on the bottom.
Not one team gets an F for anything? Even the Leafs managed a D- for cap management.
