I’m going to be pleasantly surprised if he does sign tomorrow, but he has never announced a contract/extension on his birthday in the past, so I don’t see why his superstitions would subject him to that this time around. In ’07, he signed in june, and in ’12, he signed in july.
I wonder if he’s seeing the writing on the wall with his team and contemplating retirement.
