@Canadiens de Montréal

Je crois toujours que c’est une question de temps avant que ce gars nous prouve qu’il méritait autant d’amour que Demidov lorsque nous l’avons repêché.

He had several disadvantages in his first developmental year after the draft between rotten injury luck and being in a bad team overseas, nobody should count this guy out yet though!

Let him cook on NA ice so he can show us his true capabilities.

  3. BackgroundMiserable5

Loved this pick, we’re thin on RD, gonna need him.

He had a disappointing draft+1 season, but bad injury luck and an all time ass team in switzerland certainly did not help. He did good in Laval at the end of the year and I am still confident he will become a good top 4 d for us for a long time. Michkov was my pick at the time, but with the drsft this year it makes the pick better.

I do hope he is already below other D drafted in his class in prospect rankings. But I don’t mind being patient and at least I don’t see how he can bust he already look nhl ready just need to know what pair is his ceiling.

Don’t hold your breath. It is possible but yeahhh

    Hutson – Reinbacher

    Guhle – Mailloux

    Xhekaj – Barron

Let him play in Laval all of this season. Lets see what he’s made of

In some ways I’m relieved he had such a bummer of a season last year. He saw, first hand, what the culture around a losing team is, and that’s a valuable lesson.

Plus, it lowers expectations in Laval, so if he doesn’t automatically play PP1 minutes, people won’t panic.

I say it’s 50/50 whether he finishes next year in Laval or Montreal.

The kid is a solid top 4 RHD with a top pairing upside. Those players are very hard to find. The kid is going to be just fine.

I wanted Michkov soooooo bad but for the life of me I’ll never get the reinbacher hate. It’s not like he was some crazy reach, he fits a hole in our roster. And now we have demidov so all the hate just looks even more stupid than it already was. Prove these doubters wrong David, I’m really excited to see him in Montreal

  12. GolfIsGood66

Three years from now nobody will recall how they shit on him.

  13. I really hope he does come around and become a legit too pairing guy.

But I also find it weird that so many people are convinced he can’t miss despite his mediocre year. The excuses given are evidence he might not be bad, not evidence that he is good. He still needs to prove it.

It’s just the nature of the position and type of player. No one gets excited about a 2-way D the same way as an offensive winger. We support all of them

Can’t wait to see him at camp. Hope he has a physical side as well when he makes the NHL. I can’t see him not smiling lol.

Want him to just send someone into the boards with a smile on his face

I’m 0% worried about this kid developing into a highly useful player. He has size + skating + brains. He’s gonna figure it out.

I think that Reinbacher will be good, about the same as Mailloux or Guhle, but he isn’t 5th pick material. Mailloux and Guhle aren’t worth at 5th, so is Reinbacher.
