It was great to see the feature on the Tanev brothers, and especially how it showed the leadership that Brandon Tanev has on the team. I remember the look on his face at the last Jets' press conference when I included him in what, in this journalist's professional opinion, was part of the young leadership on the Jets at that time (kind of like the words "WHAT? Me, a LEADER?!" were going through his head, especially the look in his eyes). I could see that leadership skill developing throughout his time in Winnipeg, and am so thrilled for him that his move to Pittsburgh has allowed that natural skill to grow as it has. No clue if Brandon will ever read this comment, but watching this episode was my big break today before getting back to writing a creative research project for my graduate studies this semester. Keep on kicking butt on the scoreboard and always remain enthusiastic, Brandon. Your energy is catchy, both on and off the ice! Now back to "Ruff Stuff" (the title of my project!)!
Way to go Jim! You deserve it!
Why is his kid so dusty
