I honesty do not see Reinhart being paid more than either Barkov or Tkachuk.
No state income tax in Florida. That helps.
Reino should stay with the Panthers. He's been able to shine with this team. Thanks Buffalo! 😉
You make another run. That’s wtf you do
He will take less because of no state tax.
Stay with us Sam…
Rhino stay, montour leave-Lundi stay-Vladi leave-Kuli OEL stay- lombergini stay-not sure about Cousins + Stolarz+ Stenlund any thoughts ?
I think biggest question is how much Lundell is worth? His rookie contract ends and i think ge gets biggest rise.
No way Reino even asks for that kind of money. It's 8×8 and let's go
If Frank is an insider, he’d know that Reinhart is a golfer and loves Florida. He’s not leaving. No income tax in Florida means he gets $8.7 for 7 years.
Only players unlikely to return are OEL, Tarasenko, and Montour.
Interestingly, Tarasenko as a NTC clause in his contract and this is a guy that if they managed keep, he will flourish again like the old days with the main core of these team mostly intact. He brings a lot more than just offense. On the D# of side FL might not have enough to keep Montour unless they can unload Nick Cousin's , Lorentz or Lomberg , Mahura, Ekman Larson. I personally would keep Ekman out the 3. Anthony Stolarz is gone, he is too good to be a back up and will be looking for his best interest, so they are left with Spencer Night which that is not bad at all.
For RINO FL must do everything they can to keep him . He is a unique talent and quite liked in So. FL
$19M in cap space, with everything they need to sign they can't afford Reinhart at $11M or even $10M with the Florida discount. I'd prioritize Lundell.
Must keep Lundell.
Rhino is a key component because he is a 2 way player.
Stendlund is also a key because of his pk ability.
Deep down the middle was a core piece to their success.
Wait. This wasn’t the yeat they believe they’d win a cup? Was this the feeling right after the Tkachuk trade or after the SC loss to LV?
You’re very wrong. They went into this season ready to win it again.
Few comments
1- have a feeling both sides on the Reinhart matter agreed to just get to the table after playoffs. Singluar focus
2- this team definitely planned to win this year. They’ve been planning every year to be the year since winning the presidents trophy. They’ve especially been planning for this to be the year since losing to Vegas. They’ve all said they’ve been preparing to win this year since last years finals.
3- Reinhart definitely is an 11.3M worthy player, I’m hoping and thinking that they’ll come in with a team friendly salary with long term. I think 8M x 6+ years is possible. Like yall said, ton of names on there that need to come back and he knows that too. I think he wants to run it back. They are on the verge of a dynasty.
4- nobody is gonna let their foot off the gas in the organization. They are going to be in win now mode every year this Barkov, tkachuk, Bobrovsky core is intact.
Reino aint asking more than Barkov. He knows how important Barkov is and Reino is not putting himself above him. i thik he asks the same as tkachuk and maybe settles 9,25M
