No that jersey is a terrible jersey. Black should never be in Torontos colours. And the yellow is even worse. You have a Tampa jersey and now a Boston jersey. It's almost as bad as when they tried to put silver in their colours.
The outside is kind of bland… but that switch around is trash. Reminds me their grey ones from last year. Dunno what Toronto is thinking.

I mean, I agree the yellow side is a little goofy. But I think that's what they were going for. I think the stitching being roof was supposed to add the stitching. Only thing I think was really lazy was the tail tag.
OMG! That LA Kings jersey logo looks like the creepy plastic Burger King “king” character of their TV commercials from like 20 years ago!
That logo on a white leafs jersey would look nice.
not gonna lie, from a fashionable perspective this jersey is straight gas aka very beautiful, but from a hockey fan perspective, it is silly.

I'm with Yvonne 100% I also sew and there are so many ways to do seams that are appropriate finishing for an actually reversible jersey. There are a bunch of different fabrics as well that can achieve a proper reversible effect without adding additional weight, though I do think they should have just accepted that this is a novelty jersey and made it reversible by lining it so you don't get the tags and jersey size etc visible on the "reversed" side. Which currently is just the inside-out side. And just leave the fight strap off, that's silly.
And they could have incorporated the "Honour Pride Courage" bit on the outside of the jersey, like into the sleeve stripes, into the logo, or embroidered or printed into the shoulder/back yoke.
They had the opportunity to make a really cool jersey that was actually properly reversible and they whiffed. It's just inside out. The serged seams are atrocious.

I Absolutely LOVE the black and blue jersey but that inside??? My Gawd. The yellow is Terrible and that fabric overlay and stitching ends all over the place is HIDEOUS!!!!!!! Is there a way you could remove the inner yellow logo without ruining the Nice side of the jersey??

I don't really like this one but bought the leafs 2020 grey all star jersey on sale for cheap and love the dark look.
I only ordered one because (as a leafs fan) i told myself if they made a black Jersey i would order it, i put it off until recently because i figured they would make one that wasn't reversible and i then realized just about everyone was sold out (except hockey authentic) so i figured i better order one because it may never happen again for a long time and i would hate myself for not jumping at the opportunity. Now i bet they will make a blacked-out alternate Jersey.
About those reversible Jersey Toronto jerseys just get the fanatic ones and there's no fighting strap when you wear it inside out.
