   When’s the last time a team changed captains like this? I remember the Sharks did it like 10 years ago with Thornton and Pavelski, but it wasn’t stripping Thornton of the captaincy to immediately give it to Pavelski, they took the C away from Thornton, played a full season without a captain, then gave it to Pavelski.
