  1. Back before his draft year during the U20’s Brad was seen as a top 5 pick and rightful so especially with how well he did at the tournament. What hurt his production was bouncing around Liiga at his young age (JYP, Pelicans and HIGK) , He didn’t fit into their systems at all nor could he get acclimated to their systems

What the jets did was smart, we bought low on him at the draft when he was in free fall and we brought him over to the WHL and the AHL to bring him to North American hockey and that’s honestly how he’s become who he’s become today

  2. I think he'll need more time with the Moose and should be there as a center. Eventually either Perfetti or Lambert is going to have to play center or the Jets will have to find one. Good episode.

  3. I remember in the 2022 draft rutger was seen as the safe pick with great character and future captain potential, and lambert as the boom or bust, possible attitude issues, risky pick. How the tide has changed on that. Lambert is an absolute LEADER now.

  4. I know that he wasn’t always playing his position but I think he should play Center, when he was playing wing in the WHL and AHL he struggled

  5. I'd like it if Chibrikov and Lambert,Heinola made the team.

I feel people pick apart these talented prospects but then say nothing about Kupari putting up 28gp 0g1a? Or other plugs AJF,Gustafson.
Even when we drafted and still to this day Scheifele isn't a sound defensive player he's gotten alot better.
But we gave him as a 18yr old his 7gp 1g0a with Jets. His 19yr old season 4gp beginning of season before going back Barrie and team canada wjc20. Then rookie season where you could make case he wasn't a better center then Jokinen,Little,or Antropov but got his time it's something been lacking. Sometimes you see prospects buried in Minors and never reach potential because of fit. Did we do it with Roslovic?Copp? I rather see a ELC then wasting money like reported taking a spot away like Monahan,Henrique.Having a guy who maybe makes mistakes and we all see them ìs part of growth and we have to be patient.
    – On fwd and D I think fans know what they are watching and when we saw Heinola put up as a 18yr old get his 8gp 1g4a thinking he should be on team looked great with Morrissey. Since then he's 23 now jets have fumbled wasted his development/covid and injury last year as well. It makes fans frustrated when the jets favor guys like Stanley not willing trade guys like Pionk/Schmidt or previous guys in past to open spots and cap like top NHL teams do like Tampa just let Stamkos go and when you watch top teams old blackĥawks/bruin/Florida they keep the core 5/6 guys everyone else is swapped or expendable for cap reasons ELC/deals. Hawks lost Versteeg,Ladd,Byfuglien,Cambell,Brouwer,Hossa,Sharp,Bolland,Kopecky,Bickell,Stalberg,Oduya,Saad,BradRichards but it was always next guy up. Same with Penguins,Bruins,Tampa.
    The core Toews,Kane,Seabrook,Keith,Crawford
    Crosby,Gino,Letang for them Fluery/Murray.
    Bergeron,Chara,Rask,Marchand,Krecji
    Hedman,Vasilevskiy,kucherov,Point.
