I don't think this team is that good
Canes front office hasn't addressed any of the teams roster deficiencies.
Way too many under-sized forwards especially in their top six, another year of too small Aho at 1C, another year of putrid $45m waste of space Kotkaniemi at 2C, another year watching Jordan Craawl at 3C, & Jack "if I only had a shot & some size" Drury at 4C.
Freddie "my playoff history is abysmal" Andersen at $3.5m in net, Orlov at $7.8m & Burns at $5m+ doing what any $2m dollar NHL D-Men can do, & meanwhile Guentzel, Nino, Trocheck, Kuznetsov, & Noesen all told RBA & Dundon to pound sand.
Ghost back again….but why? No physicality & a lightweight in the D-zone.
Franchise has tanked six straight postseasons. No juice & nothing worth watching this season.

They were a threat to win a cup. They are not that any more. Pittsburgh is terrible, Islanders are terrible and Washington are terrible. Columbus? terrible. Carolina finishes third in the Metro and probably loses to New Jersey in the first round.
