  1. I love how Sharks fans are saying their better than Pittsburgh. Yet whose got more Cups? Exactly.

  2. There were about 3-4 games of this series where the Penguins just completely peppered the Lightning with shot after shot and Vasilevskiy just played outstanding for the Lightning. If it were not for him making some of the acrobatic saves he did, some of these Penguin wins in the series could have been blowouts. Very good series between both teams.

I am a Penguins fan, but I tip my cap to the Lightning they played a tough series. No Steven Stamkos, but the Lightning showed they have so much depth in the likes of Kucherov, Johnson, Palat, Killhorn, etc.. Jonathan Drouin played really well for the Lightning also. The difference was Pittsburgh's stars played well when they needed to in this series, but it was the role players who won game 7.

  3. if drouin wasnt off side in game 6 lightning would have won it all this season

  4. Idk why I never even realized that Tampa and Pittsburgh played in the eastern conference finals, lol. Tampa would have easily beaten San Jose too, they're a very well run franchise.

  5. will never forgive the pens for this ruining Tampa's chances at going back to back finals. Its bas enough they beat the caps in the previous round which is ofc common with the presidents trophy winning team but this particular was worse with seeing them beat Tampa in 7 since they had just went to the final the previous year and it was their chance at making history gong to back to back. Once the caps got eliminated the round before, the lightning were my only hope and I would much rather see tamps go back to back finals then Pittsburgh. As much as I hate saying this, I low key will give the penguins the benefit of the doubt for 2017 (except the 2nd round being a caps fan lol) but 2016 really stings since the lightning were my only hope after the penguins eliminated my capitals in round 2 and how Tamps probably would've won in 2016 if it hadn't been for Pittsburgh and it could be 5 cup final appearances in this generation rather than 4 and 3 wins rather than 2. Despite San Jose being an older team then both Tampa and Pittsburgh, they would've lost either way given the pens went back to back in 2008 and 2009 and the lightning just went in 2015 and eventually again in 2020, 2021 and 2022.
