I remember leaving during the second break to grab a twelve pack and strolling right back in for the 3rd period with it under my sweatshirt and the guy at the door just chuckled. This would’ve been about 93 or so. I also caught Bondra’s first home game there. I loved that arena, I even walked the stage for my high school graduation there.
Had season tix 87-94 center ice about half way up. Loved the old Cap Centre! Spent allot of time there between Caps games and Grateful Dead shows (22) 😎. Hated getting out of the lot though what a nightmare!
