Here to just hate on Grant as a Kings fan. Lol Saying that, the Kings had a lot of misses last offseason. Thankfully the cost wasn’t significant for most of these transactions.
As to the Luka stamina thing I think its more of an in season dietary issue than a conditioning one. When I look back at the series with Minasota which superstar spent more time bent over with hands on knees?
I have a potential research/pod idea for you guys. Review every trade of the past 5-10 years that included one or more first round picks and compile a list of the main players traded for 1 first, 2 firsts, etc.. For example, 1 first – Terry Rozier, 2 firsts – Deni Avdija, 3 firsts – Dejounte Murray, and 4 firsts – Rudy Gobert. You could also figure out how to weigh pick swaps into it. This would be a good exercise to put a baseline trade cost for trade rumor candidates moving forward. You could also take time to re-hash the various trades and figure out if it was worth the pick equity or not.
As a Mavs fan, I get what grant means. When you’re already that great why not try and maximize it. A shame but maybe one day
that phoenix re-grade drop may be our biggest revision ever 😂
