  1. dumbest thing I've seen on NHL ice, good thing there was only 3 people in the front row that got to see it. "this is brand new, no team in the NHL does this" yeah probably because it's ridiculously stupid and cringeworthy. going to be hilarious when they're 25 points out of the playoffs and still doing this near the end of the season.

  2. Gotta love this! More NHL teams should learn from Europeans on how to salute their fans. This is a great start.

Maybe let the fans shout the player's last names when the team starting lineup is announced? It's amazing way to get the crowd going.

  3. how long before someone loses an edge and takes a dangerous spill 5 feet from the boards?

  4. that's pretty awesome and i'm sure the home crowd will catch on as well. let's just hope no one gets a "lower body injury" from the celebration

  5. Hockey is a sport. Sports are supposed to be fine. Therefore, Hockey should be fun. No excuses, NHL. The great game of Hockey should be made fun to watch again!

  6. this doesn't seem kind of forced to you guys? i feel sorry for the players in a few months time still being forced to do this because a marketing department insists they continue to save face.

  7. This team is a disgrace to the league. Worst jersey , worst fanbase. They should move it to a city where hockey will be appreciated

  8. When the hurricanes first started doing this I thought no big deal they are just having a little fun, but now the Hurricanes are doing more and more elaborate staged and silly celebrations that are making a mockery of hockey. Theses are grown men playing a professional sport not elementary kids on the school grounds. Time for the Hurricanes to get rid of the kiddy party tricks.

  9. I'd expect nothing less from a team thats just about broken even in their last 10+ seasons! lol C'mon its not even post season. Act like you've won a game before haha
