Obviously very skeptical of this but this guy legitimately broke 2 Blue Jays signings 2-3 days before they were official or any MLB insiders had even mentioned the Jays were involved with the players. [Here’s him breaking the Kiermaier news 4 days before official and 2 days before anyone else had it](https://x.com/HavokAndrew/status/1738966481952505934) and here are [2 posts](https://www.reddit.com/r/Torontobluejays/comments/18s3js5/kingsarcasma_close_source_has_indicated_that/) about the [IKF signing days before anyone else.](https://www.reddit.com/r/Torontobluejays/comments/18rnj4n/king_sarcasm_going_back_to_the_pending_signing_it/) I don’t know if he has legit Leafs sources but thought it was at least relevant to post.
Clutterbuck would be a valuable pest
Reaves-Clutterbuck-Martin
They might score a combined 15 goals, but that’ll be the line nobody wants to mess with.
Clutterbuck is the exact 4th liner they’ve needed for a long time. Would’ve been even better in his prime, but he’s still a demolition truck at 36.
Might as well see what Colton Orr and Mike Brown are up to while we’re at it.
Who is coming back on the trade? That seems like the bigger deal.
Leafs needed Martin and Clutterbuck 4 years ago, not now. They need speed on the 4th line.
It is definitely getting very crowded.
* Knies – Matthews – Marner
* McMann – Tavares – Nylander
* Holmberg – Domi – Jarnkrok
* Dewar – Kampf – Reaves
That is with Robertson not signed, potentially Cowen getting a spot, some depth guys fighting for spots like Abruzzese/Stevees/Pare and someone like Alex Nylander on PTO having a chance too.
Wouldn’t mind bringing in one of those guys, but both seem redundant
Still feel like trading Robertson would be a huge mistake given we need depth scoring and he has no leverage.
36 years old, 35 years old, Tanev 34 years old. Does Treliving think the window is only open for 1-2 more years?
if they trade away jarnkrok to sign one of those two guys to play every day, that’s retarded
I don’t love Jarnkrok and Kampf, but I think it’s fair to say they’re probably less of a liability than these two.
Having said that I’d have a lot of fun watching a 4th line of Reaves, Clutterbuck, and Martin.
Some of my fav hockey was when we had Orr and McLaren. Nothing better than beating a team on the scoreboard then kicking their ass.

The Toronto Islanders
Ah yes, because this team needs more aging depth players who can’t score because they’re “gritty”.
Seems like a massive waste of time.
I’m all for Mitchy reunion with his Matt Martin hero. They can admit the bromance and GET// IT// ON!!!

While Gord Downie belts out the tunes eh.
How about neither thanks. Does this team really need more 35 year old enforcers way past their physical peak?
Can either of those two guys do anything other than hit stuff?
Yeah… okay, if this turns out to be true Treliving can fuck right off. Shanahan will have one more important firing to do before leaving the org.
How about just 1 lol
This is why people were concerned about Treliving.
Why the fuck is Robertson getting traded, he has no leverage I’m sorry about he’s not going to get a bigger role on any team he goes to except for maybe the sharks or Chicago but if he wants to play for a shitty team and never make the playoffs for the foreseeable future than be my guess
Bring back Jay Rosehill 👊🏻
For a team that is desperate for depth scoring I think trading away Jarnkrok and Robertson isn’t a smart move.
You guys remember that Martin was a healthy scratch when we had him last time right
Also can’t believe we’re going to trade Robertson now that a full time roster spot is actually his to lose
