@Sabres de Buffalo

    Worth mentioning of course that Thompson only played 71 games last season.

    Side note, I wish the NHL would use graphics like this. I’d be fine if Tage stayed around 50 if the players spread the wealth and there’s multiple 50+ getters.

  3. Thompson broke his hand and missed a bunch of games, and then came back too soon and played through the injury because the Sabres were sinking like the Titanic with him out. If he can stay healthy his numbers should rebound.

    Robertson’s play might be more relevant to who his linemates(and responsibilities) are where as tage slumped due to injuries and poor powerplay structure.

    Robinson dipped, but that might also be more of the kind of player he is, a secondary star with a strong overall game. Theres also things like puck luck, and shift start location.

    Tage was handicapped bc of injuries, our vanilla pp was easily shut down as well which was a major boon for us in 22-23. If he’s healthy and the pp can improve too mean then tage should play well. With a better bottom 6 there should also be more shifts for tage in the offensive zone.

  5. Robertson only gets 18 minutes per game

    So if he got max TOI as is reasonable we’d be talking about a multiple 50 goal scorer

    His 1.8 goals per 60 exactly is exactly what Ovechkin did in most seasons

    Dallas need to realize that not only he deserves it but he and Hintz at 20+ and their 4th liners dropping from 11 minutes a night to 8 is a wonderful trade off

    Hilarious that they basically gave away dellandrea who was eating into their minutes
