    Canucks perspective: Everyone was hoping Podz would turn into something, but we were starting to get the feeling that he was a bust. Rutherford & Allvin have earned the trust of Canucks fans so we're fine with the move.

    He couldn't even make the Canuck team and now he's gonna crack the Oilers roster. This guy is a AHL player with less finish than Kulak.

    I haven’t been that bummed out from a trade since… Pavel Bure? Sounds crazy but I think it’s true. It wasn’t anything particular with Podz, just the X-factor that if he could just bring things together he could be a special type of player. It’s not all about scoring either. Can’t believe I’m saying it but I hope he goes on an early heater. With either McDavid or Draisait somewhere in his zip code that could happen. Great kid wish him the best.
