I didn’t know how universally disliked this guy is until I was reading comments on r/hockey. Gotta imagine the Flyers have him nailed if they announced the breach of contact publicly
Johansen seems to be one of those guys that is disliked wherever he goes. You gotta figure he’s gonna fight this tooth and nail. He’s below replacement level at this point in his career. This money is all he’s got left. There’s no next contract coming.
Hoping the flyers did their homework and this is open and shut. I mean the guy has been photographed doing a lot of physical activity this summer, so it shouldn’t be a hard case to make. But that said I don’t know what’s happening behind the scenes so I can’t say for sure. Either way I’m good that he’s gone. Good luck and thanks for the cap space
