All the BS about Laine just sounds like the same stupid shit people said about Dougie Hamilton. Nothing about Laine’s career is reminiscent of that of a problem player. Winnipeg and Columbus have both been tire fire orgs internally and I’m glad we got to rescue this dude and bring his insane talent to a team and city that is going to love him.

Now reading between the lines I actually feel Laine is a really good teammate. Keeps to himself it seems and respects fellow players. Idfk obviously but that’s what I gather.
Zero evidence that he’s a bad teammate and it’s just a bunch of oh he entered the player assistance program so he must be a bad teammate… ridiculous.
