I think it’s still Barkov even though most of us know he’s great.

Based on their actual time here, maybe Trocheck.

Ever? That’s a tough one as a guy from British Columbia the early years of the panthers they were pretty irrelevant to me. Didn’t start following them til after the 04 lockout
Buut I’d have to say David Booth, hardly ever talked about, but I think it was the 2010 olympics he was on track to make team USA but the concussion that year took him out. He wasn’t flashy, but very solid, and of course the bubble for the Olympic team. A lot of people I talk to don’t even know he played for the panthers, just that he was a canuck and didn’t do a whole lot there (post concussions)

All-time? Bill Lindsay. Was there in the beginning and was a surprising productive player for many years. Was a solid checking forward who could help chip in on offense when the mood struck him.
And then obviously as the colour commentator he was there for our Cup win.
Current team? Luostarinen for sure.

by our fanbase specifically? weegar comes to mind. high leverage playoff fuck ups ruined him to a large portion even though he was extremely consistent and holding up a broken bodied ekblad before forsling.

Sam Bennett. Guy is good at everything.

I’m going with Stephen Weiss, who should’ve retired as captain of the Florida Panthers. He is of course beloved by fans. He began his career in the clutch ‘n’ grab era, and right to the end of his career elevated his game as our first-line centerman for the Cats’ first playoff appearance in over a decade. I think he was underrated his entire career in the National Hockey League, and I think it’s fitting given the entire period he stuck with the organization. He deserves to be our most underrated Florida Panther of all-time.

Most overrated is ekblad by a factor of a million. Most underrated is still forsling. Hes a top 5-6 D in the world and almost no one thinks so.
