And people think his contract wasn’t “team friendly” enough. Dude might not be the most talented player ever but is balls to the wall 100%
Sad that effort ultimately meant nothing as Andersen let a few more like that past in the 3rd with no Marty to bail him out. At least the Rags fans didn’t think they were going to win, so there were only a few (relative to games 3 & especially 4) of them there?
I think people hate on him too much. Yeah he’s not putting up all the points, but dudes puts it all out there on the ice. Scoring that go ahead goal against the islanders in game 2 this year was beyond incredible. One of my favorite Canes behind Jarvis.
