I just don’t see him here long term. Don’t get me wrong, I’d love to, but his age gap with the core is too large. I would hope we would go with someone who will be around for many seasons.

I think he gets the C for a couple seasons until Leo is ready for it. I donât hate it.

This is gonna keep coming up until they make someone captain, but Verbeek has already said it’s going to someone here long term. Gudas is awesome, but he’s only here a couple more seasons. And no, I don’t think they’re going to re-sign him. He’ll be declining by then.
It’s going to be one of Carlsson, McTavish, Zegras, or Terry. I’d probably bet slightly on Terry at this point, with McT the next best bet, but I don’t know.
